WELCOME TO THE 2008 MOVING IMAGE FILM FESTIVAL
As it is our first year in the festival ring we assure you it will be an
astonishing year for filmmakers and audience members alike. We begin our run of moving images
in the Heart of Toronto; a city which is vibrantly enthralling in its theatrical and cinematic
experience. We welcome contestants from all international levels of cinematic backgrounds to
compete in our annual festival which will be circulating throughout the month of November 2008.
We will be releasing 7 major awards as part of our distinct project categories.
This Year's Awarded Categories are as follows: Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, The Heroes and
Villains Showcase, Foreign Nights Showcase, Fresh Doc or Convincing Mock Showcase, Darkness Looms
Showcase and our special Moving Image Showcase.
