FEATURED FILM SELECTIONS - Moving Image (PREMIERES)

THE GOLGOTHAN TERROR PLOT  – WORLD PREMIERE

An expedition team explores the city of Jerusalem in relation to 40 years since the takeover of the eastern sector.
In their venture they manage to capture the proper footage needed to explore the multi-faceted terrain of the old
city with interviews/scenarios, which spark episodes of aggressive behavior with city dwellers, residents, police,
and Israeli military.

Consequently, they are faced with the disappearance of one of their crew-members without any clues or rationale
to why their crew- member vanished.

In a re-evaluation of the footage taken on their four-day journey we are exposed to various opinions discussing
the 1967 takeover, issues surrounding today’s political crises, and opinions on the kidnappings of recent Israeli
soldiers (Ehud Goldwasser, Gilad Shalit). The answer to their crew-members disappearance lies in this
documentation of an amalgamation of viewpoints, opinions and extremist thoughts. Who is responsible for the
disappearance of their missing crew-member, and was there more they could have known about him, which
could help in their investigation?

The film tries to investigate the core issues, which arise in the old city today. Through a team of objective thinkers
and experts we see an examination of the issues surrounding the crisis taking place in Jerusalem and the Middle
East.
